Still Playing Catch Up!

I should be done with the 30 day challenge by tomorrow at the latest. Yeah, took way longer than 30 days, but whatevs...

Day 22: A photo that you associate a good memory with.

Source: Cottage Hill
Just like Lindy said in her post, clothes lines remind me of my Grandma. I have fond memories of "helping" her hang laundry out on a warm breezy day. By helping I mean running through the towels and sheets, filling my nose with their fresh scent. I was just thinking last night how much I miss my Grandma. I was 10 when she passed, but I would love to hear her wisdom on marriage and motherhood today.

Day 23: A photo of something you want to do someday.

Raise backyard chickens. And have a coop as kickass as this one!

Day 24: A photo of what you want to be when you grow up.
Yeah, I still don't know. The truth is I want to do soo many different things, I can't choose just one. Let me get back to ya later.

Day 25: A photo that inspires you.
Hope is the thing with feathers

That perches in the soul,

And sings the tune without the words,

And never stops at all,

And sweetest in the gale is heard;

And sore must be the storm

That could abash the little bird

That kept so many warm.

I've heard it in the chillest land,

And on the strangest sea;

Yet, never, in extremity,

It asked a crumb of me.

- Emily Dickinson

Day 26: A photo of your favorite subject in school.
Writing is one of those many things I want to do when I grow up.

Day 27: A photo of something you are looking forward to.
Being a home owner. Who knows when it will happen, but I'm already scheming the awesome things I'll do. Like have a clothesline and chickens.

  1. A house in the country is one of our dreams. Pat wants to have goats though.

  2. I think Daniel shudders at the thought of living in the country, he is definitely a city boy haha. Why goats? I would like a cow for the milk and the grass chomping.
